Why insulation?
There are three simple reasons for choosing insulated sectional industrial doors:
None of the insulated sectional industrial doors supplied by KIP KOP d.o.o. contain CFC, they are filled with polyurethane foam, and the structural panel is made of galvanized steel with double coating.
The construction of the 40 mm thick panels offers exceptional strength and reduces damage from impacts and collisions.
Properly installed insulated industrial doors offer an incredibly high U-value rating of 0.50W/m2 C, reducing heating costs in adjacent spaces such as restrooms, dining areas, meeting rooms, etc. during the winter.
KIPLIFT sectional industrial doors are made of panel boards composed of double-coated galvanized steel with a final finish of powder coating. The supplier of the panels for KIPLIFT sectional industrial doors is the renowned Swiss company TECSEDO. Typically, the construction of the steel panels for KIPLIFT sectional industrial doors includes double coating with an insulation core. The thickness of the door panels with double coating is 40 mm.
The basic price mostly includes the door leaf in a woodgrain texture, with exceptions for RAL 9007 color, where a smooth motif with one line is included as standard!

The mechanical design of all sectional industrial doors is quite different from swinging garage doors. The suspension system contributes to better and smoother operation, especially useful for larger dimension doors. All sectional industrial doors can be operated manually or remotely. In both cases, the operation is very smooth and quiet due to excellent construction and design elements. The panels of all sectional doors must have a design that prevents pinching and potential injuries, as required by law.
When open, sectional industrial doors offer the entire usable width since they have no side lifting arms. The usable height is also fully utilized.
Different options have varying requirements regarding overhead space, and the installation of springs and guides also involves different important structural attachment points. Proper installation of these springs is crucial for correct, reliable, and safe operation.
The doors are equipped with ball-bearing guide wheels covered in silicone rubber, which allows for quiet and easy movement along the guides.
Unlike swinging doors, sectional industrial doors do not have sub-frames, as they require installation directly on the structural surface or, in the case of intermediate mounting, a special mounting kit. The frame, unlike that of swinging doors, does not have a box-shaped cross-section or a head and foot for locking. The frame essentially carries only the equipment and spring mechanism, requiring only a solid and firm surface for installation.
Sectional industrial doors are highly adaptable in terms of size for two reasons.
Firstly, the entire sectional door does not swing out through the opening since it is installed inside the garage opening, and the steel mounting frame is designed to be partially visible or completely concealed. What's important for you is that there is enough side space (CL or Cd = min. 10cm) and headroom (min. 40 cm) inside the room.
Secondly, the strength of the panels means that large widths as well as heights up to 7000 mm are not a problem. The widest currently available garage doors measure 8000 mm.
Reference dimensions when ordering always refer to the actual wall opening, even if the doors are installed on the inside. However, the dimensions of the room openings can be quite different since sectional industrial doors do not swing through the opening and can therefore be installed for a wider or narrower opening as long as there is enough interior space for the door to operate.
Sectional industrial doors can be installed between wall openings, but there is no exact formula for the frame size as the requirements for headroom depend on the type of equipment ordered.

Due to the vertical movement design, you do not need to move away from the industrial door when lifting it.
Industrial garage doors are one of the few types of doors where both manual and electric operation offer the same level of security, mainly thanks to the design and mechanism of the doors themselves. Remote electric control is typically highly recommended for doors used frequently, and for the industrial version of the doors, it is available for an additional fee!
Automation
When combined with high-quality electronics, sectional industrial doors are one of the safest choices available for your facility, including all the benefits of insulation and panel strength. It is crucial that automatic industrial doors are properly adjusted, especially the force pressure! In our company, we use professional KMG lite measuring instruments for this purpose.

The power and type of drive are tailored to the door's dimensions and the calculation of torsion springs, which are precisely manufactured using computer applications during the production process. Regardless of the type of drive you choose, the remote control for the industrial version is not included in the door's price!
Furthermore, all drives are equipped with a safety system that automatically stops and reverses the door if it encounters an obstacle. Additional safety can be provided on the customer's request (for an additional fee) by installing additional security systems.
Sectional industrial doors are undoubtedly one of the most secure types of doors available, especially due to the excellent panel construction and the fact that the doors are held in steel guides on each side by at least 5 rollers, offering excellent resistance against attempts at forced entry. When combined with a high-quality electric lock, it is nearly impossible to break into the doors without special tools (and a lot of noise).
Safety is a top priority, which is why every sectional industrial door from our production is equipped with:
"finger security" protection to prevent finger pinching,
a spring brake to prevent uncontrolled door panel descent,
a brake in case of cable or wire rope breakage,
a safety switch and an additional hydraulic closer (only for doors with a built-in personal passageway),
safety warnings and instructions,
a safety lock and a pull handle,
a release mechanism that allows door opening during a power outage.
A masterpiece of technology, the option of doors for pedestrian access is an excellent solution for industries that regularly use the garage, not necessarily just for commercial purposes. Easy access to tools, machinery, and equipment is facilitated by the presence of wide pedestrian doors that can be used without the need to open the entire garage door.
Standard high security can be achieved with the upper door closer, ensuring that the doors are always closed. Thanks to the low threshold with a height of only 19 mm, access with tools and equipment is remarkably easy. A magnetic sensor also ensures that remote control operation is impossible if the pedestrian door panel is not completely closed.
KIPLIFT sectional industrial doors have high-quality rubber strips already integrated into the bottom panel of the door, on the sides of the frame, and on the belt of the upper panel or directly on the upper panel itself. When properly installed on level ground, sectional doors can provide excellent sealing against wind, rain, and insects.
You can incorporate light openings into the doors or create a complete light panel. These light openings can be provided in the color of the door or in various other colors. Additionally, upon request, you can have the light panel powder coated to your desired color.
